Green Venture and the City of Hamilton have been offering Community Presentations and EcoHouse Tours since 2001. They focus on Wise Water Use issues and how we all can use water sensibly to reduce water bills.

Community Presentations

Wise Water Use presentations are available for your school or community group. They cover a variety of water use issues ranging from availability of freshwater supplies, to using this precious resource wisely. Call 905-540-8787 for more information or to schedule a presentation.

EcoHouse Tours

Designed for adults or children, residents can Experience Greener Living with an EcoHouse tour. Formally the Veevers Estate and Glendale Dairy, Green Venture has retrofitted this 150-year-old farmhouse to be a demonstration home including water conservation technologies.

Tours and presentations are each custom-tailored to fit the needs of families, school groups, Scouts, Guides, home schoolers, and other community groups.
